Something to Sell for Niche Marketing: Make Your Own Product

Posted on
isbn book barcode

Write your own ebook. Get an isbn for it and you can even sell it on Amazon! Or Lulu.

There are two ways to get your own product to sell. Make it yourself, or have someone make it for you and buy the rights to it. People do both, but for the sake of doing everything for free, I would say make it yourself. You can make your own solid product that you create and make by hand or however you choose, if you have an idea for a product that helps someone with their problem in the niche you are targeting. An Ebook is a really great thing to make yourself and sell because it requires no manufacture, after the initial research and writing, and no shipping or inventory to hold onto. Write something (include pictures and diagrams, where relevant) that helps the people searching for your niche topic.

Make sure what you sell is really going to help them or have a chance at helping them, because they will tell their friends if it is a great product. Word of mouth sales are the easiest sales you can make, but to get those sales, your E-book or solid product must give the buyer what he or she was looking for.

Well, that’s certainly easier said than done, right? Here’s the great part. All you really need to know, to write an E-book, is how to do is gather information from different sources, put it together coherently and clearly, and in your own words. Use the myth-buster writing strategy. If you want, you can even reference the places you got the information so they can go look there themselves for more info on any certain subject. Just make sure the Ebook product is valuable in itself in some way, also, and that you add your own perspective to it all.

 More on writing E-books later.

Places Where You Can Work as a Virtual Assistant or Freelancer

work from home

Can this be you? Absolutely! Let me show you where to find hundreds of legitimate work from home opportunities. Find real work, not scam jobs that want you to “click ads to earn money” or other silly junk.

I just want to say right at the beginning that what I am going to tell you about can seem to be a little difficult to do, but only at first. The reason for this is that you may underestimate yourself. I know I did! When I first looked at these sites I was intimidated by all the jargon and mumbo jumbo, I didn’t think I had the qualifications to do most of it.

The funny thing is, I totally did, and I also had the skills to do some of it a lot better than other people who were being paid for it. I know that you have some great skills to, and the motivation besides. You are guaranteed to find something you can do.

The awesome thing about a freelance opportunity site is that you can apply for any sort of job that can be done over the internet or on a computer! So, not just article writing, though that’s usually mostly what I do on there, (or copy writing, as its also called when you write website content or “copy”). But that’s because I don’t know how to do much of anything except write, and a little basic html coding. If you know how to work MS Office programs, or edit pictures, or have any other skills, there are tons of work opportunities for that too.

Anyways… you are really wanting to know where this place is now, aren’t you? “A place where I can do real jobs online for real money?” And my answer is, Yes totally! I was as excited about it as you are, and this is one place that will NOT disappoint you.

You will get out of it what you put into it. The first day I put a profile on this website, I had someone offer me a job without ever applying to any job at all. It was a job writing fake “Im sexy, wanna hang out” emails, and I turned it down (I hate those stupid spam emails, I refuse to be a part of it. Even if it pays good.). Buuuuuut, the point is you can get a job. The most typical way to list yourself on this site is as a Virtual Assistant. A VA is an all around helper, doing anything from checking emails to various other administrative and “grunt work” computer tasks.

Now, you are thinking, omg, I can’t get a REAL job, even online! My kids might need me right in the middle of work, or something. I need something I can drop at a moment notice, and not have a boss that will be pissed at me! I would much rather do something all on my own that is MINE. And something that will eventually make me money even when I don’t work on it.

Well, I myself am a SAHM, and I absolutely know what kind of thing you are looking for. So, to reassure you, if you can sit for ten minutes at a time without having to get up for anything major, you can work on this site. You download a simple application that times you as you work, and it times in ten minute increments. (So if you work 7 minutes and want to pause or stop working, you may want to wait til the 10 minutes are up before you stop the time, just an fyi.)

Also, to ramp up income streams and start bringing in real money that can help pay bills, that doesn’t require continual maintenance like a regular job, it will take a few months, especially at the rate of working only an hour or two a day.

work together

Find people to work for (or with) and earn money hourly as you work on projects from your own home computer.

This is something you can do some of the time, earn some instant cash to pad the savings account or pay off bills, (or to earn some extra cash to further your preferred money-making projects, like I have done a time or two) and continue to work on your other money-making endeavors at the same time. You just have to allot time for each.

If you have any typing skills or office program skills, you can surely find something to do on this site. There are tons of jobs I could take on that site, and I don’t even know how to work any Office programs, all I can do is type and diddle around with basic stuff on the internet.

You can set your own wage per hour, and if you find someone willing to pay that for what you do, you’ve got a job! So be sure to stock your profile with your snazziest article you’ve written, or if you know how to do cool stuff that I don’t know how to do, you can put that stuff in there too and probably earn a lot more than me.

The websites name is go have at ‘er. Just so you know, there are a few sites like Odesk, but is the only one to offer time tracking in ten minute increments. The rest, as far as I know (unless there have been changes or new sites have went up), track by the hour, and a SAHM mom cannot be tracked by the hour on her work! We have other things to do, thank you very much.

Other sites you can try are and where you can browse through projects and send a request to do the job. There are all sorts of odd jobs you can do. Content writing can sound intimidating but its actual something anyone with a little writing skill can do, its pretty much article writing about a really specific topic, and even sometimes not so specific.
